C. Four body, massive, "pommes et filets", polished. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border, engraved with a dedication dated 1878. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, red outer minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with micrometric index Patented on February 5th, 1867. Signed on the dial and cuvette. Diam. 49 mm.
