Swiss, No. 3240, circa 1890. Fine 18K gold, hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, keyless minute repeating watch with triple calendar, chronograph and instantaneous 30 minute recorder.
C. Four body, massive, "demi bassine et filets", polished, the cover applied with a gold monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with technical details. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with outer minute register, the dates and the subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, 33 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the push piece in the band. Diam. 58 mm.
