Sir John Bennett Ltd., 65 Cheapside and 105 Regent St., London, No. 6983, with London halhnarks for 1910. Fine and rare, 18K gold hunting cased keyless minute repeating watch, carillon on three gongs, chronograph and instantaneous 60 minute recorder, in original red leather fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "pommes et filets" by Frederick Thomas (Master Mark), polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel by Willis with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued-steel "pear" hands. M. 19-, frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate with raised going barrel, 15 jewels in screwed settings for the going train, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, free sprung balance spring with terminal curves and swan neck micrometric index, diamond end-stone. Repeating, carillon on three gongs with three hammers and slide in the band. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 54 mm.
