C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, made by Arnold Schaefli (Master Mark), the cover engraved with a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numeral and outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and Upand- Down scale. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18 '" , frosted and gilt, half plate with cylindrical pillars secured by screws, 15 jewels in screwed settings, fusee with chain and maintaining power, spring detent escapement of Earnshaw type, two-arm compensation balance with poising and timing screws, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and movement. Diam. 51 mm.
