J. Barth & Fils, Geneve, No. 35273, circa 1900. Fine 14K gold hunting cased, quarter repeating keyless watch with chronograph and 30 minutes progressive recorder.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets ", engineturned. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold "spade" hands. M. Glazed 19'", gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. Chronograph with visible work and push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Diam. 54 mm.
