Swiss, No. 8775, circa 1900. Fine 18K gold, hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, keyless minute repeating watch with triple calendar and chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "demi bassine et filets " , engineturned. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary dials for the clays of the week, the dates, the months and the subsidiary seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. Glazed 18- , gilt brass, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Brevet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the push piece in the band. Diam. 60 mm.
