Perrelet A. Paris, No. 384, circa 1825. Fine 18K gold independent dead centre seconds watch with special escapement and 12 hour recorder.
C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes" , engine-turned. Gilt brass cuvette engraved with technical details. D. Silver engine-turned, concentric dead seconds ring, chapter rings with Roman and Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Breguet hands. M. 22"' , double train, gilt brass, bar caliber, ruby cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass threearm balance, Breguet "pare-chute" suspension and flat balance spring with compensation curb. Independent dead centre seconds train base on the principle invented by Moise Pouzait, with flirt on the escape wheel pinion. Signed on the dial and cuvette. Diam. 57 mm.
