Notes

With the striking work fitted on the back plate, the movement of this clock is characteristic of the Neuchatel production. Several clocks of this type were produced in the area of Neuchatel and La Chaux-de-Fonds towards the end of the 18th century. They often carry the signature of important makers such as Courvoisier, Dubois, Robert or Georges.
