C. The movement fitted on the rectangular base with four bun feet, the face carved with cherubs playing music; the carved allegorical scene at the top features Heracles, wearing the skin of the Lion of Nemia, and his wife, Dejanir, being drawn together by Cupid. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute ring. Blued steel Breguet hands with skeletonised tips. M. Brass circular movement de Paris with going barrel both for the going and the striking train, anchor escapement with short pendulum, silk suspension. Striking on a bell with count wheel on the back plate. Signed on the dial. Dim. 46 x 34 x 12 cm.
