Swiss, circa 1820. Fine 18K gold, half skeletonised, quarter repeating watch with three automaton Jacks.

C. Three body, Empire, with reeded band and engineturned back. Gilt brass hinged cuvette. D. Small white enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals. Blued steel hands. Driven by the repeating work, threecoloured gold automaton Jacks on each side of the dial, strike hours and quarter on two bells above an automaton Cupid which strikes the quarter below the dial. Gilt brass dial plate fully engraved with scrolls with applied visible polished steel repeating work. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance and flat balance spring. Gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on three gongs with three hammers by depressing the pendant. Diam. 56 mm.
