Swiss, circa 1820. Fine 18K gold quarter repeating watch with three automaton Jacks.

C. Three body, Empire, with twisted band and repousse back. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. Small white enamel with Breguet numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Applied on a blue enamelled dial plate and riven by the repeating work, three-coloured gold automaton Indian like Jacks on each side of the dial, strike hours and quarter on two bells above an automaton monkey strikes the quarters below the dial. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance and flat balance spring. Gilt brass continental cock with garnet end-stone. Repeating on three gongs with three hammers by depressing the pendant. Diam. 57 mm.
