Leroy & Fib, Paris, No. 6461, circa 1880. Fine gilt bronze eight day going travelling timepiece designed as a small Louis XV cartel, in original leather fitted box with tooled decoration.
C. Two body, designed as a small cartel with rocaille decoration, the face chased with foliage, Cupid seating at the top. D. Ivory with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel " trefles " hands. M. Rectangular with turned pillars and going barrel, platform lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, numbered on the case and movement. Dim. 115 x 55 x 35 mm.
