Swiss Patent No. 18543, made for Hausmann & Co., Roma - Napoli, circa 1890. Fine and rare 18K gold hunting cased, moon phase, astronomical, keyless minute repeating Grande Sonnerie clock watch with perpetual calendar, in original burr walnut fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets " , polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months of the leap-year cycle, the date and the seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Glazed 20" ', frosted and gilt, double train with differential winding, 30 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking hours and quarters on three gongs with three hammers, Strike/Silence optional lever on the bezel border. Repeating on gongs with push piece in the band. Signed on the cuvette by the retailer. Diam. 58 mm.
