Four-body, "bassine et filets", massive, polished, hinged andsprung front cover with black enamel foliate monogram, curved band, back cover decorated with an open bookresting upon two palm fronds and the motto "Vivre C'est Christ" in black enamel. Hinged silver cuvette withengraved presentation inscription. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer fifth of a second markers cali-bratedup to 300 seconds, minute track, subsidiary dials for four-year cycle and months, days of the week anddate, subsidiary seconds and moon phase aperture, setting levers for date, month, days and moon phases in thebezel. Blackened steel "spade" hands. M. 19 1/2''', frosted gilt, wolf's tooth winding, steel chronograph work oper-atedby a button in the band, 32 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance,Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, repeating the hours, quarter hours and minutes with two hammers ontwo gongs activated by depressing a slide in the band.Cuvette signed, case numbered.Diam. 61 mm.
