E. Senn, Bâle, Swiss, circa 1900.Fine 18K gold, hunting-cased, astronomical, with phases of the moon, minute repeating watch with calendar and chronograph.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished with 'EW' monogram in front, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer chronograph chapter, three subsidiary dials for days of the week, days of the month and seconds concentric with aperture for the phases of the moon, aperture at 12 o?clock for digital months, gold "spade" hands. M. 19 ???, rhodiumed, 'fausses côtes' decoration, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, gointrain jeweled to the third wheel with balance and escape wheel in endstones, repeating and chronograph trains fully jeweled, repeating on gongs through activating the slide in the band.Signed on cuvette.Diam. 55 mm.
