Swiss, circa 1880.Fine 18K gold hunting-cased, double face, astronomical, phases of the moon watch with calendar.

C. Four-body, 'bassine et filets', covers engraved in floral decoration, front centered by a cartouche with initials 'TN', insides with elaborate engine-turning. D. Front: silver with multicolored gold applied floral decoration, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds, aperture for phases of the moon with a lunar calendar segment, blued-steel "spade" hands. Back: white enamel ring calibrated in days of the week and days of the month, gold index hand for date, gold half-moon hand fodays. M. 20???, rhodiumed, 'fausses côtes' decoration superimposed with fine snailing, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring, lever-set.Diam. 53 mm.
