Cugnier Lechot, No. 5405, circa 1820.Fine 18K gold two-train, petite et grande sonnerie clock-watch, quarter-hour repeating watch with special escapement.
C. Four-body, 'demi-bassine', engine-turned with off-center barleycorn pattern, small, polished cartouche with initials 'GJC', gold hinged cuvette decorated with scrolls. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, gold Breguet hands. M. 23???, two half-plates, one for going train, the other for striking, symmetrically arranged with barrels in between, ruby cylinder escapement, gold three-arm balance, steel balance cock with two small feet, striking controlling levers at 1 o?clock and beween 9 and 10 o?clock, repeating via striking train activating by a push-button in the pendant, striking and repeating on two gongs.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 60 mm.
