Audemars Frères, Swiss, No. 45559, retailed by Spangenberg & Freccero, Montevideo, circa 1910.Fine 18K rose gold, demi hunting-cased astronomical, keyless, minute repeating watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, and chronograph.
C. Four-body, 'bassine et filets', polished, with a coat-of-arms and the motto 'Deus Alit Eos'. Hinged gold cuvette. The inside back cover stamped with 'A.H. GENEVE' in an ellipse. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes and chronograph divisions, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, days of the month, months of the four-year leap cycle and subsidiary seconds with inner phases of the moon aperture. Gold 'spade' hands, the chronograph and calendar hands in blued-stee. M. 19???, gilded brass, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan-neck micrometric regulator, wolf-teeth winding wheels, the going, repeater and chronograph trains fully jeweled. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 55 mm.
