Longines, Swiss, No. 9159320, case No. 4507, circa 1950.Fine, large, stainless steel "Staybrite", keyless watch with split-seconds chronograph, instantaneous 30 minute recorder and stop feature.
C. three-body, massive, "bassine et filets" polished, chronograph activating pushbutton in the crown with threaded blocking nut, pin-set at 2 o'clock also acts as a stop button. Hinged stainless steel cuvette. D. silvered with bold Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued steel "feuilles" hands. M. 22''', rhodium-plated, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with screws, self-compensating Breguet balnce spring with swan neck micrometric regulator. Split-seconds chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and push piece in the band.Dial and movement signed. Case with serial numbers.Diam. 66 mm.
