A) Vaucher Freres, Swiss, No. 348. Made circa 1890 for the
Chinese market. Silver pocket watch with Chinese Zodiac dial
and Chinese caliber.
B) British, No. 1297, with assay marks for Birmingham. Made
in 1835. Rare silver pair cased pocket watch.

C. Three-body, bassine. Hinged engraved cuvette.
D. White enamel with radial 24-hour Roman numerals, outer
minute track, radial Chinese characters within another track,
outermost track with radial multicolored painted Zodiac
animals, center seconds. Blued steel reed hands.
M. 44 mm, gilt brass Chinese caliber, jeweled escapement,
large duplex escapement, fl at balance spring, index regulator.
Movement signed. Diam 54 mm.
B)
C. Pair case, the outer two-body, bassine, the inner two-body
with opening for the key wind.
D. White enamel radial Roman numerals, outer minute track.
M. 42 mm, matte gilt, full plate, fusee and chain, verge
escapement, three-arm brass balance, fl at balance spring,
continental cock. Both cases stamped with hallmarks and
maker's mark (J.W).
