SWISS QUARTER-REPEATER POCKET WATCH Swiss, No. 7364. Made circa 1830. Fine and rare, quarter-repeating, 18K pink gold pocket watch with multicolored gold striking Jacks.
C. Three-body, ?Empire?, engine-turned. Gilt brass springloaded cuvette fi tted to the movement ring. D. Gold dial with Arabic numerals on white enamel chapter plaques, outer minute-ring, the center white enamel, applied multicolored gold Jacks strike bells during repeating on a royal blue enamel background. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 42 mm., frosted gilt, full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusée and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with fl at balance spring, pierced and engraved continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant, automaton driven via repeating train. Diam. 56 mm.
