RING WATCH Swiss, probably Geneva. Made circa 1810. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K gold, enamel, pearl and rose diamond-set octagonal ring watch with visible rose diamond-set balance.
C. Octagonal top housing the watch, bezel decorated with translucent royal blue enamel and set with pearls and rose-cut diamonds, secured by two screws, polished sliding panel at the bottom to reveal the winding, setting and regulation holes, reeded shank secured by two screws. D. Octagonal blued steel plate, in the lower part, an aperture for the rose-cut diamond-set balance, in the lower part, eccentric white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer minute dot divisions. Blued steel spade hands. M. 13 x 25 mm, brass, octagonal, fi xed barrel, cylinder escapement, brass escape wheel, plain diamond-set balance with three arms, fl at balance spring. Dim. Length 29 mm, width 16 mm. Diameter of shank 20 mm.
