MINUTE REPEATING MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK Swiss, No. 70052, retailed by Wilson & Sharp, Edinburgh. Made circa 1910. Fine and rare, miniature, minute-repeating, gilt and silvered brass, "Pendulette de voyage a repetition minutes", 8-day going carriage clock with alarm. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

Gilt brass, ?anglaise riche?, dentilled cornices, fl uted Corinthian pillars, brushed silvered brass panels on three sides, winding concealed in the base with sliding cover, hinged fluted handle, large repeat button in the top. D.White enamel with black arabic numerals, outer gilt dot minute divisions. Gilt Louis XVI hands. M. 19???, frosted gilt watch movement, fi ve-wheel train, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator geared from the base, repeating on gongs activated by depressing a button on the top of the case. Fitted case signed by the retailer. Dim. 76 x 58 x 45 mm.
