Two-body, ?Louis XV?, back finely painted in grisaille enamel with a scene depicting four children discussing a sheet of music, a cello leaning against the wall, engraved bezels, front one also with champlevé enamel floral pattern. D. White, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, outermost five-minute Arabic figures, winding aperture at 4 o?clock. Gold Louis ?XV? hands. M. 36 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental cock. Signed on the movement. Diam. 43 mm.
