SWISS ENAMEL PENDANT WATCH, PORTRAIT DE DAME Swiss, Geneva, No. 6579. Made circa 1860. Fine, 18K gold, painted on enamel and rose-cut diamond-set lady's pendant watch with an 18K gold two-strand long chain with a key and seal fob.

C. Four-body, bassine et fi lets, reeded band, the back cover with a painted on enamel scene of a young lady in 18th century costume, flowers and rose-cut diamonds in her hair, black ground, outer engraved repeat pattern border. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel fancy hands. M. 13???, matte gilt, bar caliber, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 32 mm.
