SILVER & ENAMEL MINUTE REPEATING DESK CLOCK Swiss, No. 203869. The case with Glasgow import marks for 1929. Fine and rare, minute-repeating, silver and enamel, 8-day going keyless desk clock.
C. Rectangular, arch-top, the front, sides and base overlaid with black enamel within white enamel line borders, hinged back cover, large winding crown in the base, repeat button in the side, ball feet. D. Brushed silvered with applied gold Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel poire hands. M. Rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, large going barrel, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, regulation disc on the back plate, centrifugal governor, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the button in the side of the case. Dim. 73 x 55 x 31 mm.
