LES AMOUREUX EROTIC SNUFF BOX French. Made circa 1820. Fine and rare, papier mache snuff box with two concealed erotic scenes.

C. Three-body, brown papier mache, circular, the lid painted with a scene of a young couple in a clearing in the long grass, the interior lining of the box unscrews to reveal two erotic scenes, one depicting a young couple in a boudoir, the other of a young couple relaxing in a garden. Diam. 90 mm.
