IMPERIAL PRESENTATION Paul Buhre, No. 3027. Made for the Russian Court, circa 1900. Fine, 14K gold and enamel hunting-cased keyless presentation pocket watch, the case applied with the Russian Imperial arms.
C. Four-body, "bassine et fi lets", polished, the front with applied gold Imperial Eagle with enamel decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with fi ve-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold circle and baton hands. M. 19???, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed in Cyrillic. Diam. 53 mm.
