REUGE MUSICAL CLOCK Unsigned, Swiss with music box by Reuge. Made in the 20th century. Fine, silver gilt key-wind mantle timepiece decorated with enamel and semi-precious stones, with mechanical musical box within the base.

Decorative silver gilt with rectangular base housing music box, activated by a sliding lever to the front, wooden underside, pillared upper to a round housing with hinged reverse, all highly decorated with enamel and semi-precious stones. D. White enamel with black Roman numerals within blue sunburst cartouche, outer minute dots, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel moon hands. M. Gilt brass 45 mm pocket watch caliber, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut and compensated bi-metallic balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Height 22.5 cm., width 15.3 cm., depth 10.3 cm.
