Extremely fine and unique, 18K white gold and diamond-set wristwatch with wandering hours, the dial depicting the starlit sky above Monaco on January 8th, 1297, when the rock was taken by Francois Grimaldi, twin selfregulating barrel, De Bethune silicon-platinum annular balance and an 18K white gold De Bethune buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box and Certificate.
Case: Three-body, round drum shape, polished, large hollowed lugs, screw-down crown, transparent back, anti-reflective sapphire crystals to 1800 Vickers hardness. Dial: Flame-blued titanium depicting the starlit sky above Monaco on January 8th, 1297, the Orion and Gemini constellations picked out by 14 invisibly set white diamonds, 91 further stars in applied white gold, aperture at 6 o'clock for the solid silver sandblasted hour and minute discs with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Flame-blued titanium pointer. Movement: Cal. DB2105S, mainplate and bridges in beveled and hand-polished steel, 29 jewels, twin self-regulating barrel, silicon-platinum annular balance, balance spring with flat terminal curve, Triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system.
