Robert Favre & Vieux, Geneva, No. 18594. Made circa 1870. Very fine, 18K gold and black enamel pocket watch. Accompanied by a fitted box and a matching gold, diamond and black enamel chain.
C. Four-body, reeded bezel, the back cover with black enamel centered by a diamond rosette surrounded by Fleur de Lys decoration, outer border with engraved floral pattern. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions. Black breguet hands. M. 27 mm, matte gilt, Lepine caliber, jeweled cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed. Diam. 31 mm.
