Gérald Genta, Ref. 2840.7. Producedin the 1980's.Very fine, octagonal, astronomic, self-winding, 18K gold gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar and moon phases.
C. two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, "Vendôme" type lugs, cabochon sapphire-set winding-crown, pusher on the band for quick change of the dates. D. black with painted white Roman numerals, auxiliary mother-of-pearl ring dials for the days of the month, of the week, the months, apertures for the moon phases and the leap year. "Bâton" yellow gold hands. M. Cal. 3390, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 5 jewels, five adjustments,shock-absorber, straight line lever escapement, mono-etallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, .Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 33 mm.
