Bouquet of FlowersAGASSIZ & CE, ST. IMIER, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1860.Fine, 18K gold, painted enamel, pearl-set center-seconds pocket watch with special movement.
C. four-body, "Empire", the back finely painted on enamel with a bouquet of flowers on a light green enamel background, the band with a geometrical pattern in matching light green champlevé enamel, gold hinged, glazed cuvette, bezels, pendant and bow set with half pearls. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 31.4 mm ø, highly polished steel, typical "Chinese" caliber with standing barrel, 6 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm steel balance.Movement signed.Diam. 39 mm.
