Badollet à Paris, No. 207, circa 1789. Rare 18-carat gold stop watch with an unusual type of regulator dial and a special escapement.
Three body polished case by Tavernier, gilt brass dust cap. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals for the hours, small symetrical subsidiary chapters, for seconds on the left, minute on the right. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass movement, the back plate smaller as used by Breguet for his military counters, going barrel, virgule escapement, plain brass three armed balance. Outer stopwatch lever. Good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
