Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1900. Rare 18 ct. gold hunting cased quarter repeating keyless watch with an Erotic concealed automaton scene with three figures.

Four body massive "demi-bassine et filet" engine turned case. Gold cuvette disclosing the automaton scene driven by the repeating train. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "pear" hands. Nickel plated 19movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band, a small gold star shaped piece on the back plate setting the automatons in motion. In very good condition.

Erotic automaton watches from this period are usually set with two figures, one of them only, is set in motion by the repeating train. Such a watch with a subsidiary automaton voyeuse is extremely rare (non other is actually known). Diam.: 53 mm.
