Anonymous (probably Audemars Frères & Cie), circa 1890. Unusual 18-carat pink gold watch with independant seconds, chronograph set on the independant second train, 12 hour progressive recorder and calendar.
Four body massive "pomme et filet grande gouge" polished case. Glazed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with small symetrical chapters for the hours and minutes and the hours and minute register, with Roman numerals, outer independant second ring, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the dates. Blued steel "spade" hands. Very fine nickel plated double train movement, "à vagues" decoration, 25 jewels, two gold settings, with a gold train of wheels, a differencial winding, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Once set in motion by means of a locking bolt on the band, the chronograph hand can be stoped and set back to zero, by means of a push piece on the winding crown. In very good condition. Diam.: 55 mm.
