Anonymous, Swiss (probably "Le Phare" in La Chaux-de-Fonds), circa 1908. Good 18-carat pink gold hunting cased minute repeating moon phase astronomical watch with chronograph.
Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated July 16th 1908. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, apertures for the days of the week and the months, subsidiary dials for the date and the running seconds with an inner moon phase aperture. Gilt metal "Louis XV" hands. Glazed 18' gilt brass movement, 31 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a push piece on the band, the chronograph with a visible work and a push piece on the band. In very good condition. Diam.: 58 mm.
