Jules Jurgensen, Copenhagen, No. 15037, circa 1890. Good and rare 18-carat pink gold hunting cased minute repeating watch with split second chronograph.
Four body massive "demi-bassine et filet " polished case. Gold cuvette engine-turned on the edge. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. Very fine 17"' nickel plated movement, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band, chronograph with a visible work and a push piece on the band, the split second with a push piece on the band. Special patented Jurgensen hand setting device by means of the benting bow. In very good condition. Diam.: 49 mm.
