Good silver cased deck chronometer with up and down scale, 1st class certificate at the Astronomical Observatory from Neuchâtel. In its original three body mahogany box. Massive "Empire" case with reeded band. Silver cuvette engraved with the awarded certificate. Mat silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and 52 hour up and down scale, Blued steel "pear" hands. Very fine 24' gilt brass movement, 21 jewels in screwed setting, straight line lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance, 9 adjustments, balance spring with terminal curve. In very good condition. Diam.: 66 mm.
