Leather covered bie body outer case with piqué work decoration. Fine silver double body bassine inner case, pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage, an engraved roset on the back. Silver "champlevé" dial with Roman numerals, inner revolving alarm disc with Arabic numerals. Blued steel pointer and later single hand. Fine full plate movement with "amphores" pillars, fusee with gut line, verge escapement with a balance wheel foliot, single foot gilt metal early French cock, pierced and engraved with scrolls, worm screw adjustment of the mainspring. Alarm train with a fixed gilt brass barrel, pierced and engraved with scrolls, striking on a bell. In very good condition. Diam.: 50 mm.
