Jules Jurgensen, Copenhagen, No. 14793, sold in 1885. Very fine and rare 18-carat pink gold hunting cased minute repeating watch with split second chronograph and instantaneous 60 minute recorder. With its original Braziliam rosewood fitted case, original invoice from Tiffany and certificates.
Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case, a dedication dated January 1st. 1885, engraved inside the cover. Gold cuvette engine-turned on the edge. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary seconds and minute recorder. Blued steel " Breguet" hands. Fine 19"' nickel movement, 32 jewel, 2 gold setting, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Minute repeating by means of a slide on the band, the chronograph with a visible work and a push piece on the band next to the split second push piece. Jules Jurgensen patented setting hand device by means of the benting bow. In very good condition. Diam.: 56 mm.
