Eterna, Swiss, circa 1920. Fine 14-carat pink gold and enamel hunting cased watch.
Four body "bassine pincée carrure à facettes" engine-turned case, the cover enamelled with two heads of horses, finely painted on a translucent grey back ground over engineturning, the blue enamelled border with "champlevé" scrolled decoration (slightly restored). Gold cuvette. Frost gilt metal dial with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. 17' gilt brass move-ment, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In good condition. Diam.: 55 mm.
