Magnificent 20-carat gold and enamel quarter dumb repeating watch set with moss agate cabochons, with a matching chatelaine, and original similarly decorated key and seal. Double body engraved case decorated overall with very fine 'champlevé' enamel flowers painted in relief and set with small moss agate pannels. 5 element matching chatelaine, decorated 'en suite'. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Very fine gilt brass full plate movement signed on the dial rim with column pillars, 'fusee' and chain, verge escapement with plain steel three armed balance, continental Louis XV cock and polished steel endpiece. Repeating on the case by depressing the pendant with a thumb piece on the bezel. In perfect condition. Diam. 46 mm.
