Very fine and rare 20-carat gold and enamel mounted gun metal pair cased half quarter repeating watch. Double body outer gun metal case covered with finely chased and pierced flowers and further decoration. Double body inner case pierced and engraved with scrolled foliage, very fine 'champlevé' translucent enamel painted flowers on the back. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring ( restored). Later gold 'spade' hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with column pillars, ' fusée' and chain, verge escapement with plain steel three armed balance and an English cock, repeating on the bell by depressing the pendant. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
