Good 20-carat gold pair cased watch for the Dutch market. Double body outer case deeply 'repoussé' with a mythological scene and further rocaille decoration. Plain double body inner case. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gilt metal Louis XV hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with baluster pillars, 'fusée' and chain, verge escapement with plain brass three armed balance and a Dutch style cock pierced and engraved with a crown, the head of man, a winged sand glas and other symbols, polished steel endpiece. In good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
