Extremely fine and important 18-carat gold and enamel hunting cased minute repeating moon phase astronomical watch with perpetual calendar and power reserve indication. Heavy massive four body 'bassine et filet' polished case, the cover with a painted 'champlevé' enamel coat of arms the back with a monogram. Gold cuvette. Very fine whi e enamel dial (Willis) with Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months with inner leap year cycle and outer up/down scale, the dates, the seconds with inner age and moon phase aperture. Gold 'pear' hands. Good gilt brass three quarter plate 21 "' keyless movement, (Nicole Nielsen) 26 jewels, 'fusée' with maintaining power, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with poising gold screws, balance-spring with terminal curve, free sprung, diamond endstone. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. In very good condition. Diam. 61 mm.
