Unusual 18-carat gold 'grande et petite sonnerie' quarter repeating clock watch with a decorated dial and a special escapement. Three body 'Empire' polished case with reeded band. Glazed gilt brass cuvette. Fine gold dial with Breguet numerals on enamelled reserve, outer enamelled minute ring, centre with a finely painted enamel scene of an Empire battle. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass partly skeletolized double train movement with going barrels, virgule escapement with plain three armed polished steel balance. Striking and repeating on gongs with visible 'grande, petite sonnerie' and repeating work. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
