Very fine and rare 18-carat gold and enamel watch with matching chatelaine in original fitted Morocco case. Double body case, the engraved bezel with painted enamel flowers, a domestic scene depicting a backgammon party, finely painted on the enamel back, further rocaille engraving with small painted enamel flowers. Gold and enamel chatelaine with four domestic scenes and flowers finely painted on the elements (slightly restored). White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with concave pillars, ' fusee' and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance with Louis XV continental cock, garnet endstone. In good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
