Good 20-carat gold pair cased half quarter repeating watch. Double body case, ' repoussée' with an allegorical scene depicting 'The Renomée' further scroll and pierced decoration on the edge. Inner case pierced and engraved with scrolls and a mask. Gold ' champlevé' dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and arch graduations. Blued steel 'poker' hands. Engraved silver dust cap. Gilt brass full plate movement with baluster pillars, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, continental type cock with ruby endstone repeating on a bell. In very good condition. Diam. 48 mm.
