Gold 18-carat gold quarter repeating watch with automaton Jacks. Three body 'Empire' polished case with reeded band, the back engraved with a crest. Gilt brass cuvette. Small white enamel dial with Breguet numerals (hair crack), blued steel Breguet hands. The dial plate with a translucent blue enamel over engine turning, gold stars on the edge, on each side of the dial, two automaton savages strike the quarters at will, on two bells. Full plate gilt brass movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain gold three armed balance, polished steel cock with ruby endstone. Repeating on two gongs. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
